Dr. Ervin Ross

A memorial service for Dr. Ervin Ross, 72, 1566 Hollywood Ave., Cincinnati, will be at 7:30 p. m. Tuesday in College Hill Presbyterian Church, where Dr. Ross died Friday while attending a church social event.

He practiced medicine in Cincinnati 40 years, and was a member of the Academy of Medicine, Shriners and a Masonic lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; a daughter, Mrs. Guy Bising, Lakewood; a son, Clarke, Elsmere, Ky.; and one brother, Paul, Cincinnati.

The son of Alfred Gilmore Ross & Sarah Esther (Wagle) Ross, he was born on 12 May 1902 in Vandergrift, Westmoreland County, PA.

After attending the University of Cincinnati Medical School, he became a doctor in New York City. He met and married Virginia Belle Wagner on 14 Jun 1937 in New York, New York County, NY.

After serving in WW II, he set up his practice in Cincinnati, OH. His specialty was eye, ear, nose, throat & allergy.

Ervin & Virginia had two children, Clarke Everett Ross & Bonnie Belle Ross.
