The Huntsville Times, Wednesday, July 4, 1973: A funeral for Grover C. Sharp, 67, of Rt. 4, Huntsville, who died Tuesday at Huntsville Hospital after a long illness, will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Fork Primitive Baptist Church with R. O. Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Blyth Funeral Home directing. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lela Sharp; seven sons, Hugo C. Sharp, Coleman Sharp, Bill Sharp, James Sharp, Johnnie Sharp, Bobby Sharp, Donald R. Sharp, all of Huntsville; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Thornberry, Miss Oma Sharp both of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Larry Britt, Okalona, Miss.; and 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert M. Mason, Ladell Mason, Richard Mason, Leon Mason, Bobby Davis and Charlie Mason. The body will be at the funeral home until time for the service.
