Services for Hill Clinton Durham, 77 of Columbia were at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with the Masonic Lodge Chapter #164 of Columbia in charge. Interment followed in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
Mr. Durham was born in Woodville, Tx. on October 27, 1922 to the union of Hill Clinton and Annie Mae Earl Durham and died Sunday, February 13, 2000 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
He was a retired civil engineer with the State of Louisiana and a member of the Masonic Lodge #164 in Columbia. He was also a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Bridger Durham of Columbia; three sons, Robert Clinton Durham of Houston, Tx., Hill Clinton Durham, III of Dubach and John Hartley Durham of Columbia; a brother, Tippie Durham of Port Neches, Tx.; a sister, Opal Gilcrest of Arkansas; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were masons.
