Her parents were Henry, Jr. & Sarah (Phipps) Lealand and were wed in Sherborn, Mass., April 26, 1785. Originally called the "Northeast Quarter", Hubbardston was part of Rutland, Worcester County, Mass. until it became a town in 1767. Kezia and Samuel McLanahan were wed there on January 22, 1807.
