Mamie K. Thill, 87, of Aurora, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2002 at Provena Mercy Center Hospital. She was born February 25, 1915 in Aurora.
Mamie was united in marriage to Clarence L. Thill on June 7, 1941. She was a member of St. Joseph Church for 44 years, and was also a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Survivors include her son, Rodney J. Thill; her daughter, Linda (Brett) Deiter; two granddaughters: Marcy (Aaron) Reimer and Tammy (Matt) Bell; her sister, Josephine Schramer, all of Aurora; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Clarence L. Thill; her parents, John and Mary (Baumann) Kartheiser; and by two sisters, Eva Leick and Lucille Kartheiser.
Mamie will always be remembered by her family and friends as a warm-hearted lady with a lot of energy and love to share.
Funeral from The Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary, Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at 9:30AM to St. Joseph Church at 10:00AM. Fr. Jerome L. Leake will officiate with interment in Marywood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2002 from 2:00-8:00PM, with a liturgical wake service at 4:30 PM, at The Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary, 220 N.
