Staff Sgt. Bradley C. Hart, 25, of Perrysburg, Ohio died February 17 at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Africa, of injuries sustained in a non combat incident. He was assigned to the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, N.C. Staff Sgt. Hart's awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, two Army Good Conduct Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service medal, the Non-commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon with numeral two, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the Parachutist Badge, and the Driver/Mechanics Badge. He was posthumously awarded the Army Bronze Star Medal and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal. Staff Sgt. Bradley is survived by his loving wife, Katie (Katharine Knoph) Hart, his parents, Charles and Darlene Hart (Perrysburg, OH), siblings; Travis Powell and wife Jessica (Ft. Bragg, NC), Tammy, Curtis, Susie, and Sarah all of Perrysburg, OH. Grandparents: Dorothy (Reed) Hart, Shirley and George "Jay" Kinzie also of Perrysburg, OH. Nieces: Caroline and Kaylee Powell, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandfathers Clifford L Hart Sr. (Perrysburg) and Arthur A. Dunlap (Perrysburg, formerly Ashland, OH).
