Marjorie Louise (Twombly) Hyde, 77, of Penrose, Colorado passed on to greater glory Sunday, February 6th, 2011 in St. Thomas More Hospital, Canon City, Colorado. Blessed are the pure of heart since they will see God.
Marjorie was born in Wolf River Township, near Fanning and Sparks, Kansas on September 11, 1933, daughter of the late Naoma Mae (Long) and Ray Twombly. She attended the Iola School for eight years and graduated from Highland High School with the class of 1951. She attended Business College and worked as an accountant. On September 19, 1954 she married Gordon Earl Hyde and they lived in many states and foreign countries during his military career.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Raymond and James Twombly, and sister Harriet Blanton.
