SAVANNAH, Ga. - Funeral services for Mrs. Katie B. Grimes, 77, of Savannah, and former resident of Twin City, Ga., who died Wednesday, will be held 11 a.m. today at the First United Methodist Church of Twin City.
The Rev. Curtis C. Roberts will officiate, assisted by the Rev. J.A. Lemons. Burial will be in the Old Canoochee Cemetery, Twin City.
She had lived in Savannah for the past eight years.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Rufus Hendrix, Savannah, Mrs. Phillip Whitehead, Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Aline Still, Augusta; two sons, Herbert Grimes, Jacksonville, Sgt. John Grimes, Columbus, Ga.
Pallbearers will be Buck Brown, Virgil Grimes, C.E. Sego, Hyman Sego, Rollin Grimes and J.M. Hendrix.
