Eldon R. Chandler
Graveside services for Eldon R. Chandler of Midland are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery with Don Mitchell, minister of Westside Church of Christ officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
Chandler died early Saturday morning at a Big Spring hospital.
He was born Oct. 11, 1916, in Cleburne. He was reared in and around Post. He entered the Army during World War II and spent three years in the South Pacific.
Upon discharge from the Army, he lived in a number of places before coming to Midland in 1955. He had worked as a mechanic since that time.
Survivors include his sister, Oleta Young of Midland, and several nieces and nephews.
