Dennie B. Luce, the youngest child of Herman David and Rosa Bell Luce, was born July 12, 1897 at New Virginia, Iowa and died December 8, 1897 at Pleasanton, Iowa.
On account of the sickness of other members of the family, the funeral services were deferred until January 8, 1898 when a short service was conducted at the Bethel Church by Rev. E. C. Newland.
