Edwin M. Wagner, 70, formerly of R. 1, New Holstein, a resident of 1809 Van Buren St., New Holstein since December of 1960 passed away at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, Tuesday Aug. 10.

He was born in Johnsburg, Wisconsin on February 23, 1906, a son of the late John and Catherine Freund Wagner and attended schools in Johnsburg.

He was engaged in farming at R. 1, New Holstein, for 24 years prior to his retirement in 1960. He married Elilda Steiner on April 21, 1938 in Charlesburg. He is currently a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Ne Holstein, its Holy Name Society and the New Holstein Senior Citizens.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Betty) Arenz of Chilton, Mrs. Thomas (Rosemary) Shea of Sheboygan Falls, five grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Herbert and Alfred, both of Fond du Lac, four sisters, Mrs. Ella Nelson, St. Paul, Minnesota; Mrs. Martha Laudolff, Mrs. Mary Laudolff, and Mrs. Ida Laudolff, Fond du Lac.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and one daughter.

Funeral services will be at Holy Rosary Church, the Rev. Ralph Hermsen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Parish cemetery.
