Jane Scher was born on September 6, 1917 in Huntington, IN to Grover and Hazel Class Kline. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Scher married Marcellus Scher on September 23, 1937 in St. Mary Church, Huntington, IN. Mr. Scher preceded her in death on November 25, 1999.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rosary Sodality and the Daughters of Isabella. She was also a member of the Leisure Ladies Bowling Team, Oak Lanes.
Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Helen C. McLaughlin, Perris, CA. 3 Sons: Tom N. Scher, Richard L. Scher and James D. Scher all of Huntington, IN 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Robert Kline, Gilbert Kline and Richard Kline.
2 Sisters: Mary E. Miller and Bonnie Ellen Kline.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 18, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN. 46750.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 10 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750 with Father Ron Rieder Presiding.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St Mary Catholic Church for masses or the Diabetes Asso. all in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
