Helen Smith Andrews age 87, of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007. She was born in Brown Place, Tennessee to the late John Riley & Ollie Beatty Smith. She had lived most of her life in the Kensington/Cedar Grove community. She was a member of Kensington United Methodist Church where she also was a member of the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. She was a former employee of E.T. Barwick Mills in Kensington where she worked in administration. She had also worked with the U.S. Postal Service, drove a school bus for Walker County and was a former teacher at Cedar Grove School. She was preceded in death by her husband: Roland A. Andrews, her three brothers and her two sisters. She is survived by her children: Duane Andrews of Fernley, Nevada, James R. "Pete" Andrews of Lithia, Florida, Helen LeVera Conrad of Las Vegas, Nevada, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday-March 27, 2007 in the chapel. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery, Cedar Grove - Georgia. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes - J. Avery Bryan Chapel, Chickamauga, Georgia.
