Services Tuesday For Mrs. Durham

Mrs. Lewis Durham, 69, residing at 1130 So. Main in Kalispell, died in a Kalispell hospital Friday afternoon.

Mrs. Durham was born Orpha Josephine Jevitt in Lisbon, N. D., March 20, 1890, to Michael and Hattie Close Jevitt . She received her education and grew to womanhood there and on June 22, 1909, she was married to Lewis (sic) Durham in Lisbon. They later moved to eastern Montana and in 1920 they came to Glasgow, Mont., where they lived until 1838 when they came to Kalispell and have resided here since.

Mrs. Durham is survived by her husband, Lewis, in Kalispell; one daughter, Mrs. Edna Turnacliff in Kalispell; two sons, Curtis M. in Kalispell and Joe R. in Missoula; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Carl Nommenson, Kalispell; Mrs. Mary Conklin, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Katherine McDonald, Price, Utah and serveral nieces and nephews.

The body is at the Johnson Funeral home where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. by Rev. James Teener, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in the Glacier Memorial Gardens.
