Frederick J. Aringer, 69, a resident of Albuquerque since October of 1998, passed away on Monday, August 16, 1999. Frederick was born April 23, 1930, the son of Frederick and Tessie Magoshegyi Aringer in Bay Shore, New York. Fred had been a cabinet maker, carpenter before retiring. He served in the Army National Guard during the time of the Korean Conflict. Fred was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Shirley; and one sister, Marian Schafer. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Audrey Aringer of Albuquerque; two daughters, Jackie Morin of Albuquerque and Lisa Halleran of Patchoque, NY; one sister, Elizabeth Davis of St. James, NY; two grandchildren, John Melloy and Anthony Callari; one great-grandchild, Kristen Melloy. It has been suggested by the family that memorials may be made to St. Joseph Cardiac Care or have Masses said in Frederick's name. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary.
