Classical Violinist. Like her younger sister Beatrice, May Harrison was born in India, but returned to England as a child. She enjoyed a long and distinguished career as one of England's finest violinists, and Frederick Delius dedicated his Third Violin Sonata to her. In addition to her recordings and broadcasts, May also taught at the Royal College of Music from 1935 to 1947.
