Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1 at Bethel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Calvin Sylvester Jones and Dovie Roseanna Hanna Jones. Mrs. Coleman was a homemaker, a member of Bethel Baptist Church and the Adele Lynch Sunday School Class. She was a great wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Leo Coleman; a daughter, Ilee C. Stokes; and a son, Jimmy B. Coleman.
She is survived by two daughters, Imogene (Richard) Elmore of Olanta, and Joyce (Franklin) Watts of Florence; a son, Mitchell (Barbara) Coleman of Southern Pines, N.C.; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren
