Graveside services for Mr. James K. Polk Gibbs, 85, of Jena, La., were held May 5, 4 p.m., under the direction of the Hawthorn Funeral Home at the DeBerry Cemetery. Rev. Arron Paul Erwin officiated.
Mr. Gibbs died May 3, at the LaSalle General Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Gibbs; two daughters, Betty Henley, Baton Rouge, La. and Linda Morrow, Mandeville, La.; one step-daughter, Hazel Barker, Ferriday, La.; one step-son, Joe Bacle, Jena, La.; two sisters, Dora Jones, Shreveport, La., Dorna Mircle, Bossier City, La. Seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
