Brian J. Platt, 34, of 1150 Gorham Road, Elbridge, died Thursday in a truck accident on Route 690.
Mr. Platt was a native of Elbridge and was a field supervisor for the J.D.S. Construction Co.
He was a 1971 graduate of Jordan-Elbridge High School and was a member of the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon DeMassi Platt; a son, Brian Patrick Platt; two daughters, Ami Marie and Julie Lynn Platt, all at home; his parents, Richard W. and Mary Platt of Elbridge; four brothers, John W. of Winchester, Va., Richard G. of Cortland, Geoffrey W. of Auburn and Michael F. of Morrisville; and three sisters, Margaret Anne Trivison of Syracuse, Mary Beth Withey of Elbridge and Honora F. Gormley of Cortland.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at White Church Fellowship Hall, Elbridge. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Elbridge.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, Elbridge
