She was born in Selma, the daughter of Bertha Opal (Hodson) Rodeffer and Wilmer Harrison Rodeffer.
Katrina graduated from Losantville High School in 1939 and lived most of her life in Parker City. She married Albert Brewer in 1941 and they were married for 62 years when he passed away May 2, 2003. Katrina had worked at Woolworth's in the Northwest Plaza, but most of her life she was a homemaker. She was a very active member of Selma United Methodist Church where she did volunteer work, taught Sunday school, and worked in the church office.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Bob Mills; one sister, Iva Jane Swoveland; one brother, Don Rodeffer (wife-Carolyn), Selma; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert Lee Brewer; one daughter, Nancy Brewer; one brother, Wilber Rodeffer; and two sisters, Reba Carey and Betty Sue Cross.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastor Mark Ellcessor officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery at Losantville. Family and friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary.
