Mrs. Louisa E. YARIAN, 79, of the Pleasant Hill community, died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ethel SWIHART of one mile west of Akron. She had been seriously ill for two weeks and in failing health for six months. She was born Feb. 14, 1876, in Miami county to Jacob and Sarah (WHITMYRE) SMITH. Her husband, Moses YARIAN, died in 1951. Mrs. Yarian was a member of the Pleasant Hill church. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Ethel SWIHART, Akron; Mrs. Ester GEARHART, near Silver Lake, and Hazel YARIAN, at home; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and a brother, Henry SMITH, R.R. 1, Roann. Final rites were held at 2 p.m. today at the Moyer-Haupert funeral home, Akron, with the Rev. Daniel L. SLAYBAUGH officiating. Burial was made in the Akron cemetery.
