Helen M. Webb, 90, Golden LivingCenter-Hillview, died Weds., Feb. 16, 2001 at Altoona Hospital. She was born in Amsbry to Thomas and Ella (Chirdon) Ratchford. She married James M. Webb on March 4, 1946 and he died March 22, 2004. Survived by sons: James E., of Lancaster and Michael J. (Elizabeth), of Yorktown, VA and daughter, Joan M. Conway (Thomas), of Altoona; 4 grandchildren: Laurie Moore (Steve), John Conway (Melissa) and Christopher and Katherine Webb; and brothers: John J. Ratchford, in PA; Thomas Ratchford, in TX and Francis Ratchford, in FL. Predeceased by sisters: Bernice, Eileen and Margaret and brothers: Paul and William. Helen was a 1937 graduate of Gallitzin High School. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Rosary Guild.
