Born in Rochester, the son of Frank and Irene Biskup, he was an US Army veteran, serving from 1959 to 1961. He worked at Edgewood Arsenal from 1959-1977 as a toxicologist. He worked for the Food and Drug Administration in the center of Food Safety and Applied Nutrition from 1977-1995. He served as the Director of Quality Assurance in downtown Washington, D.C. and Parklawn, VA from 1981-1993. He retired as Acting Director of MOD I where he worked from 1993-1995. He worked as a consultant in his field through 2003. He enjoyed sports and was an avid bowler. He was an active member of Churchville Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carol B. Lancaster Biskup; one son, Ronald K. Biskup, Jr.; one daughter, Rhonda L. Biskup; one brother, Dennis (Patricia) Biskup of Pennsylvania; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
