OBITUARY
Rites Held For Mrs. Dickerson
Funeral services for Mrs. Dickerson, 88, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 21, in Howell-Doran Chapel, with the Rev. Lee Geldmeier officiating.
Burial was in City Cemetery under the direction of Howell-Doran Funeral Home.
Pallbearers included John Lee Walker, Pat Murray, Bert Weatherby, Wallace Hinyard, Fred Townsend Jr. and Chas. Little.
Mrs. Dickerson died Thursday, Aug. 19, at Arlington, where she had resided the past 11 years.
The former Daisy Dean Biard, she was born Feb. 28, 1883, at Paris, the daughter of John W. Biard and Sally V. Hood. She was married to Ed Dickerson, Dec. 26, 1902, at Paris. She and her husband, who died here in 1960, owned and operated a variety store here for a number of years. She had been a resident of the county about 50 years before moving to Arlington. She was a Methodist.
She is survived by a niece, Mrs. H. L. Cass of Arlington.
