Alice B. Zaspel, 79, of Murrysville, died Weds., Feb. 16, 2011. She was born February 10, 1932 in Pittsburgh to George & Lena (Bickel) Schlafhauser. She was a graduate of Duquesne Univ. and received her masters at Penn State Univ. She was an elementary schoolteacher for several years in Florida and was a teacher and administrator in the Woodland Hills School District for over 28 years. Survived by husband, Anton 'Andy' Zaspel; sister, Wilma Zaspel, formerly of Penn Hills; nieces, Gail Hurley of State College and Sherry Polca of Slatington and nephews, Kurt Zaspel of Plum and George Zaspel of Export. Hart Funeral Home, Murrysville. Interment, Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum Boro.
