Stella Lisby was first married to Charles P. Pritchett on June 23, 1904. They were the parents of a son, Cecil. After Charles' death, Stella married Sanford Poer on Feb. 28, 1911.

Stella Poer, life-time resident of Hendricks County, died Monday afternoon in the Hendricks County Hospital where she had been a patient for two hours. She had been in ill health for some time. She was born January 31, 1875 south of New Winchester. She was married to the late Sam Poer who died Jan. 26, 1947. She was a member of the Danville Christian Church and a former member of the Fellow Helpers, Loyal Friend's Club and Pythian Sisters. Services will be this afternoon, 1:00 pm, at the Weaver Funeral Home, Danville. The Rev. George A. Harris will officiate with burial in the Fairview Cemetery, North Salem. A son, Leon Poer, is the only survivor.
