Middle daughter to parents Ed and Sue Hood, sister to brother David and sister Ginger, Cheryl was a beloved friend to all her friends who knew her. She was active in the 4H program and talented in the yearly young authors program put on every year by the Comstock Park School district. This and much more is why her untimely death and the tender age of 13 of perotonitis was cause for vital shock waves among all of her fellow school mates as well as her family. She passed away in the arms of her loving father, Ed, on Good Friday, March 24, 1989. Following a widely attended funeral service at Reyers Funeral Chapel on March 28, she was interred in a private family graveside service at Alpine Twp. Cemetery.
