Abraham Ryker Wheat was the son of David Wheat and Rachel Ryker.

From 28 Jun 1864 to 23 Aug 1865 during the Civil War, Abraham served as a private in the Union 2nd Regiment of Missouri Light Artillery, 3rd Battery, Company I. He enlisted when he was only 16 years old.
Abraham Ryker Wheat was the son of David Wheat and Rachel Ryker.
