Gracie Lee Porterfield, a native of this county died April 15, 1970, in the Hot Spring County Memorial Hospital. She was born June 4, 1898 and married Milton "Dock" Porterfield March 15, 1921 and was a Baptist. She is survived by by six sons; Duffie and Johnie Porterfield of San Jose, CA; Vernon Porterfield of Ontario, CA; James Porterfield of Gulfport, MS; Charles Porterfield of Malvern; Loy Porterfield of Clairmont, CA; five daughters, Mrs. Iva Mae Launius of Arkdelphia; Mrs. Helen Smith of Malvern; Mrs. Faye Foster of San Antonio, TX; Mrs. Jesse Ruth Zuber of Montclair, CA.; Mrs Margarette Ann Johnson of Pine Bluff; her mother, Mrs. Ida Hodge of Benton; four brothers; Jess Johnson of TX; James Johnson of Pine Bluff; Olen Johnson of Sparkman; Issac Johnson of Fort Smith; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lemons of Sheridan; Mrs Alice Bierman of Montclair, CA; forty grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Atkinson Funeral Home with Rev Cecil Launius officiating. Burial will be in DeLamar Cemetery at Manning.
