James Henry Harshbarger
James Nicholas Harshbarger, 71, died Saturday Morning at his home near Hollins College.
He was a retired farmer and orchardist.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Annie C. Harshbarger; a son, M. B. Harshbarger, and a daughter, Mrs. R. W. Milton, Roanoke; two sisters: Mrs. W. L. Paitsel and Miss Stella Harshbarger, Roanoke County; and five grandchildren.
Funeral will be conducted at Enon Baptist Church, Hollins, at 3 p.m. Monday by the Rev. W. L. Corder and Dr. Wade H. Bryant. Interment will be in Sherwood. The body will be removed from the residence to the church at 2 p.m. Pallbearers will be: Lewis McFalls, Russell Roland, Emory Chittum, J. K. Gilmore, Jr., Harvey Burnett and Kyle Halsey.
