MARCOLA — A celebration of life will be held at noon Sunday, Feb. 6, at the Mohawk Grange for Sara "Jo" Braun of Marcola, who died Jan. 31 of complications from a stroke at age 73.
She was born Aug. 1, 1937, in Madras to Fred and Ora Boyles Rodman. She married Fred Braun on July 8, 1962, in Eugene.
She attended Marylhurst College and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Kim Braun of Eugene and Kay Stanley of Chicago; and a sister, Christina McElhaney of Stevensville, Mont.
Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield. Remembrances to Greenhill Humane Society.
