Born in Bolzano, Dorian Gray was a famous Italian actress, immortalized through her interpretation of Marisa Florian in Camillo Mastrocinque's "Totò, Peppino e la Malafemmina", 1956, alongside worldwide famous comedians, Totò and Peppino De Filippo.

Starring in 32 movies, Dorian ended abruptly her career in 1965, after getting pregnant. She moved to Torcegno, Trentino, where she built a villa, and remained there in self - imposed seclusion, until committing suicide by gunshot on Wednesday, January 16, 2011, aged 75.
