Charles K. Crawford, a native of Beallsville, this county, died last night at 10:30 o.clock at his home on the Morris Weir farm, near Point Lookout, in South Franklin township, of heart trouble, aged 53 years. The deceased had lived on the Weir farm for about four years, going there from Charleroi, where he had been employed in a glass factory. The greater part of his life was spent in the Beallsville section. He was a son of the late Mordecai and Catherine A. Crawford. In 1888 he was married to Miss Rebecca Wilson, of near Beallsville. Six children blessed the union, and five survive him, as follows: C. Lewis, James N., Emma, Frances Priscilla and J. Lawrence, all at home. The follwoing brothers and sisters also survive: Samuel R., of Charleroi; John A. of Cass county, Indiana; Alonzo and Elmer M. G. Crawford of Washington; Mrs. Frank Nicholl, of Logan county, O., formerly of Somerset township, this county, and Mrs. Ira Chamberlain, of Grindstone, Fayette county.
