SMITH, Daniel Age, 59. of Belleville, Michigan, formerly of Floyd County, died Sunday, February 27, 2000, at his residence. He was born January 5, 1941 at Wayland, the son of Rena Slone Smith of Allen, and the late Virgil Smith. He was a retired supervisor with Foul-Michigan Truck, a United States Air Force Veteran, and was a member of the Metro Baptist Church in Belleville, Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Vaughn Smith. Other survivors include four sons. Dennis Clark Smith of Adrian, Michigan, Daniel Smith and Virgil Alex Smith, both of Wayne, Michigan, and John Thomas Smith of Garden City, Michigan; four daughters, Danielle Adams of Wayne, Michigan, Sandy Westfall of Belleville, Michigan, Dawn Sullivan of Dana, arid Cathy Higgins of Ypsilanti, Michigan; five brothers, Donald Smith of St. Mary's Ohio, Dareld Smith of Findlay, Ohio, David Smith of Langley, and Douglas and Dingus Smith, both of Allen; one sister, Delores Smith of Allen; and 14 grandchildren. Burial will be in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, at lvel Military honors will be given by the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 18, of Auxier.
