Virginia, Sept. 10. - Mrs. Amelia Harriett Greenwood, 72, died last night at her home in Philadelphia, east of here. The remains were brought to the Purnell funeral home here.
Decedent was born, May 18, 1868 in this vicinity, a daughter of the late David Alcorn and Louise Ingold Alcorn, early pioneers. She was married to Francis M. Greenwood, who survives.
Funeral services will be held at the residence at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in charge of Rev. W. S. Neely of the local Presbyterian church. Internment will be in Walnut Ridge cemetery at Virginia.
