Funeral service for Balma Tobola, 93, of Lawton will be 11 am Tuesday, February 15, 2011 in the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Passmore officiating.

Mrs. Tobola died Saturday, February 12th, 2011 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Interment will be in at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home Monday evening.

She was born August 4, 1917 in Headrick, Oklahoma to Ed Marple and Johnnie McCoy Marple. She grew up in Headrick and later attended beauty school in Lawton, Oklahoma. She married Joe L. Tobola in 1943 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was a beautician in Lawton for over 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lawton for over 50 years.

She is survived by two sisters, Jean Nordeen of Lawton, Oklahoma and Leta Autry and her husband, Les of Altus, Oklahoma and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joe Tobola and by her mother and father, Ed and Johnnie Marple and an infant brother, J. E. Marple, and two brothers, Bud Marple and Dean Marple.
