Survived by his wife, Lillie Mae Tant Baxter, married on March 22, 1913 in Paulding County; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Durell (Irene) Freeman, Mr. and Mrs. James Pink (Katie Elizabeth) Bates, and Margaret Ann Baxter; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Hartwell (Violet) Baxter and Elmer Junior (Glenda) Baxter.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Anna R. Baxter; twin sons, Hoyt and Roy Baxter who died in infancy; and a brother, Neb Baxter.
