Queen joined St. Paul A.M.E. Church where she served in the offices of, President of the Stewardess Board, a Class Leader and an ever faithful usher, until her failing health prevented her from attending church.
She retired from Arrow Automotive, where she was an assembly line worker. She was known for her cooking,, compassion and thoughtfulness in sharing what she cooked.
Queen leaves to cherish her memories a great nephew, Troy Perkins, Jr. of SanDiego, California and one great niece, Cathy Perkins of Union City, California; her St. Paul Church Family and her devoted Care Givers at Brookridge Cove where she was cared for since August 24, 2000.
Funeral service for Mrs. Watson will be Friday, February 18, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Morrilton by Rev. Barbara A. Butler, officiating.
Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morrilton .
