Grandsons as Pall Bearers at the Funeral

Mrs. Sarah Ann Harlan who died at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday at her home 722 North Lebanon Street, had been ailing for several years. Her last illness covered a period of six weeks. Death was due to diabetes.
Mrs. Harlan was born in Boone county January 9, 1847 and was consequently aged 67 years and 18 days. Her mother died when she was two years old and at five years of age she was taken to Rush County where she made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Harlan (an uncle of her husband's). She resided in that county until 1871 when she and her husband came to Boone County and settled near Pleasant View west of Lebanon. She and Mr. Harlan lived in the Pleasant View neighborhood.

Perfectly groomed in the large cemetery. Go to about 10:oo in the cemetery, they are in a center section near the back. See picture of the stone, one of the largest.
