Delegate to U.S. Congress from Hawaii Territory, 1900-1903. Leader of the Hawaiian revolution of 1889, tried for treason, but acquitted by a jury. In 1895 he was involved in the rebellion and was sentenced to death, but was later given a 35 year sentence instead. He was pardoned in 1898.∼Robert William Kalanihiapo Wilcox
