Charlie Coulson
Charlie H. Coulson, 67, Country Club Lane, well known Galax merchant and farmer, member of City Council, died at Forsyth Memorial Hospital, Winston - Salem, N.C.,
Friday, September 4, 1964. He had been ill for several weeks.
Mr. Coulson was born in Carroll County April 6, 1907, to the late Israel M. Coulson
and wife, the late Mrs. Amanda Sharp Coulson.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Mildred Coulson one daughter, Mrs. Brenda Neal,
Roanoke; three sisters, Mrs. George Doss, Austinville; Mrs. Wesley Burnett, Woodlawn, and Mrs. George Burnett, Galax, and three brothers Floyd Coulson, Rt. 1, Woodlawn; Sterling M. Coulson, Galax, and Glenn E. Coulson, Radford.
Funeral services were conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, September 6, at the First
Christian Church by the Rev. W. E. Cunningham, pastor of the church, and a former pastor, Dr. H.O. Wilson, of Winston-Salem.
Interment was in Monta Vista Memory Gardens.
The body rested at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home until time for removal to be placed in the church one hour before the services.

Coulson, Radford. Funeral was held Sept. 6 at the First Christian Church of Galax at 4 p.m. by the Rev. W. E. Cunningham and Dr, H. O. Wilson. Burial was in the Monta Vista Cemetery.
