Fannie (Minnie) B. Farmer, 86, of Liberty, a former Eldon resident, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1991, in Liberty. She was born Aug. 18, 1905 in Tuscumbia to John and Elvira (Stark) Blankenship. On Feb. 22, 1922, she was married in Tuscumbia to Cecil S. Farmer, who died July 9, 1985.
Mrs. Farmer was a member of the Mt. Herman Baptist Church. She worked as a receptionist at Kays Funeral Home in Eldon until her retirement.
Surviving her are two sons, Carl Farmer of Liberty and Stanton Farmer of Springfield; a daughter, Opal VanBebber of Kansas City; a sister, Martha Wright of Eldon; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at press time. They will be announced by Griswold-Kays Funeral Home of Eldon.
