Nannie Ruth Ayers Brown-Obituary
Died: 06-11-2003 Nannie Ruth Ayers Brown, 79, of Life Care Center of Greeneville, formerly of the Warrensburg community, died Wednesday morning at the center. She was a homemaker. Ms. Brown was a member of Warrensburg United Methodist Church.
She was a graduate of Mosheim High School and attended East Tennessee State University in Johnson City.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Douglas and Robin Brown of Midway; a daughter and son-in-law: Libby and Roy Talus of Wilmington, N.C.; her grandchildren: Janet Talus and BrianTalus, both of Wilmington; two step grandchildren: Andrea Taylor and Ashley Taylor, both of Midway; and a brother and sister-in-law: Dan and Marlene Ayers of Midway.
She was a daughter of the late J.C. and Edna Bible Ayers and was preceded in death by a brother: Frank Ayers; and a sister: Margaret Ayers.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 4 o,clock Friday afternoon at Warrensburg UM Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Rick Hollifield and the Rev. J.B. Marshall will officiate.
The body will be taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Joe Neill, A.K. Killion, Steve Sauceman, Glenn Ayers, Robert Lloyd Smelcer, and Jim Hinkle.
