Mr. Baggett was a native and life long resident of Repton. He worked in the forestry industry for 46 years, and was a former member of the Sandcut Volunteer Fire Dept., and was a member of Baggett's Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Baggett was preceded in death by his parents, Percy & Katie Lou Baggett.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Patricia Ballard Baggett of Repton; two daughters, Daphne (Darren) Joyner of Repton, and Paula (Dennis) Blosser of Repton; two sisters, Alva (Bill) Ivy of Repton, and Emily (Lewis) Baggett of Mobile; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Joyner and Carson Blosser, both of Repton.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Baggett's Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Renfroe, and speaker Bernice Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Baggett's Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Bobby Ballard, Danny Joyner, Billy Baggett, Lawrence Gray, Allen Gray, and Brian Gray.
Visitation will be held at Craver's Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
