Mrs. Judith R. Biggs, 42, a special education teacher, died of cancer Saturday at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Services are 11 a.m. Monday at the Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation is 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today.
Mrs. Biggs, born in Cincinnati, had lived in Jackson for 26 years. She graduated from St. Joseph High School and attended the University of Southern Mississippi and the State University of New York in Fredonia. She held a degree in special education from East Carolina University at Greenville, N.C. She taught special education in Goldsboro, N.C., at Richland High School and worked with handicapped children in New York, North Carolina and Mississippi.
Survivors include: husband Steve, daughters, Kristi Biggs and Kathleen Biggs, both of Brandon; parents, Douglas and Mary Robinson of Jackson; sisters, Joyce Noone, Joan Damiens and Jayne Evans, all of Jackson, Jeanne Derbes of Panama City, Fla., and Jill Saway of Austin, Texas.
