Joseph and Ruth’s first child was Ann, born Feb 24, 1814, died Dec 4, 1886. On Jan 1, 1848 she was joined in marriage to Daniel Buton Slocum by the Rev Mr. Parmelee. Daniel died May 5, 1888. They had three children; John Bromley born Aug 18, 1851, Mary Ann born Nov 7, 1853 and Sarah Isidora #68226018.
