She was born in Ridgeville, O., a daughter of Andrew and Minnie (Krueger) Nieding. She was a graduate of Western Reserve Nursing School in Cleveland, in 1930.
The Martins moved to Elkins two years ago from Lowell, O., and she had made many friends since her short residence here. She is survived by her husband, her father, of Elyria O., twin daughters, Mary and Jane, 3 1/2 years of age, and one sister, Mrs. Loletta Kenat of Cleveland. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but the remains will probably be removed to the former residence in Ohio. This appeared in the newspaper "The Inter-Mountain" in Elkins, West Virginia.
Mrs. Leona Nieding Martyin, 30, wife of Dr. Joseph Martin died Sunday morning at her home in Elkins, West Virginia.
Mrs. Martin was born in Ridgeville township January 17, 1909. She grduated from Elyria High School and Western Reserve University. She married Dr. J.E. Martin. Jr. October 1, 1932 in Ripley, New York.
Besides her husband she leaves twin daughters, Mary Edith and Jane Ann, aged four; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Nieding of Fields, a sister, Mrs. Loletta Kenat of Cleveland and other relatives.
Friends may call at the Nicholas Funeral Home where services will be held TYuesday at 10:30 a.m. wwith the Rev. Crawford of Fields officiating. Burial will be made in Fields Cemetery. Appeared in the newspaper, "the Elyria Chronicle Telegram" Elyria, Ohio.
