Vida Lyman Harrison, 91, of Twin Falls passed away Friday morning, February 11, 2011 at her home in Twin Falls.
Vida was born on December 24, 1919 in Escalante, Utah the daughter of Vern and Mary Wilcock Lyman. She grew up and attended schools in Escalante; graduating from Escalante High School in 1938. Vida married the love of her life, Emmett Harrison in Pocatello, Idaho. Together they raised three children, Jules, Marilyn and Patti.
Vida's love was her family and enjoying the time with them. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, yard work, golfing, homemaking crafts and camping.
Vida was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many positions. She was also a member of the Relief Society Organization, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Music Club, and the Symphony League.
Vida is survived by her three children, Jules V. (Treva) Harrison of Polsbo, Washington; Marilyn (Chet) Harmer of San Jose, California; and Patricia "Patti" Harrison of Sandy, Utah. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Mike, Liz, Annette, Brandt, and Tiffanee as well as her 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Emmett in November of 2003; one brother and 2 sisters.
