Daily Clarion-Ledger; Jackson, Mississippi; Wednesday Morning; June 26, 1940; page nine, column 3:

"Jackson Woman Will Be Buried In Amite County - Mrs. Margaret Easley Parker, native of Forrest county, died at a local hospital at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon following an illness of several months.

She was 32 years of age.

A member of the Baptist church, Mrs. Parker made her home here at 410 Court street.

The body will be sent to Gloster at 6 o'clock Wednesday morning with final rites set at Union Church, near that Amite county town, at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The Rev. Delos Castles will officiate with burial following there.

Surviving her are her husband, P. A. Parker of Jackson; two daughters, Sylvia Parker and Sibyl Parker, both of Jackson; her mother, Mrs. J. H. Sheffield of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Henry Sheffield of Fort Worth; two sisters, Mrs. Leo Brown of Fort Worth and Miss Juanita Sheffield of Jackson."
