Wallace Hanson, 63, life long resident of Richland county passed away Friday evening at Albion, where he was a patient in a nursing home.

Mr. Hanson was born in Richland County on April 14, 1907, a son of Howard and Effie (Ridgely) Hanson. He lived just west of the Seminary Church for many years and spent most of his life as a carpenter, working in Richland County

He is survived by one sister-in-law, Mrs. Kell Hanson of Olney, rt 1, one niece, Mrs. Donald (Kay) Jones of Fairfield, and two nephews, Monte R. Hanson of West Salem rt 1 and Keith A. Hanson of Olney rt. 1.

Mr. Hanson was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ellis and Kell.

Funeral services for Wallace Hanson will be held at Zirkle Mortuary with Rev. Glenn Leathers officiating with interment in the Marion Cemetery southwest of Parkerburg.
